I have also tried to load the game after opening another file which opens just fine (did not have any Airport DLC additions to it).
If I try to open from the "continue game" or "load save" the load screen stops after about 50% load, the bird keeps spinning and i can hear noise in the background but the load bar stops at 50% and wont move. I saved after i was done for the day, got up today to continue a bit of work and found that the file will not open. Yesterday i installed Airport DLC and began to build an airport, i also discovered a lag caused by 81 tiles which i saw others were having as well, and i disabled the mod. To start i have spent several hours attempting to fix this issue on my own, im left to beleive that the saved file some how became corrupted. Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
